Developing a Learning Culture through Employee Engagement

How HR Departments Can Defeat “The Great Resignation”

By Taking The Long View with Learning & Development

 Program Overview:

It is seldom that employees have an influence or impact on decisions in organizations. By investing and focusing on cross-training, upskilling, and continued learning employers can foster a culture of learning and adaptability.  Employee feedback is typically recognized and encouraged, but it may not ultimately influence the final decision. However, an organization that is open to making a commitment to learning and continuous development environment is allowing employees to act as leaders. Employee engagement is to encourage employee commitment by involving employees in decisions that affect the success of an organization. It is characteristic of the culture in many organizations that decisions disseminate from senior leadership.

The remote work environment is where goals, objectives, outcomes, and modes of connection transcend space and time. Therefore, it is important for organizations to reframe their approach by developing a learning culture that brings teams together and focus everyone simultaneously at different times.

The purpose of the presentation is to learn how management can motivate and encourage employees through development and a learning culture to share in decisions that impact their work, especially in a remote work environment.
