Coaching in the New Normal

**This event will be held virtually via Zoom**

 Program Overview:

The new normal is a popular way to describe how assumptions are being challenged and new norms are being defined. As we all navigate a pandemic, social justice movements, mental health focus, return to workplace policies, and the great resignation, coaching is becoming increasingly important leadership muscle and business tool. The role HR plays in coaching is evolving every day. If coaching is every conversation you have (and avoid having) then HR sets in motion much of the culture, the expectations, and the institutional practices that ground organizational coaching. In this interactive panel discussion, this team of coaches from Exude, Inc. will discuss the current state of coaching including:

  • What are the current trends in coaching tied to formal programs (leadership, mentoring, and sponsorship programs)?
  • How is coaching bridging the blurred lines between the experience employees are having inside versus outside of work?
  • How are self-awareness and mental health guiding priorities for employees and people leaders?
  • Where can HR make pointed shifts in traditional performance management practices (i.e. year-end reviews) to drive a coaching culture?
